SideWorks was born from years of real-life experience in construction, landscaping and agricultural equipment by owner & operator Trent Dekker. Much of his involvement while working in these sectors included the use of specialized equipment, like cranes and other heavy machinery, to complete projects. Trent developed a passion for finding and using the right “tool” for the job, knowing it was the best way to accomplish tasks in less time with superior quality. The right people supplemented with the right machinery ultimately gave the client the best result.  

However, while working for other companies and completing sizable projects for larger businesses, Trent realized there was a lack of contractors who could apply this same mentality to meet the needs of homeowners and small businesses. 

This is where SideWorks fits. 

SideWorks is a specialized handyman service with capabilities in outdoor services like landscaping and light excavation, along with small woodworking projects. Using our teams knowledge, experience and specialized equipment, our mission is to help clients take their project from plan to reality. 

As for the equipment and in the spirit of having the right “tool” for the job, SideWorks has invested in “the most multifunctional loader in the world!” Called an Avant®, it is an articulated front loader with over 200 unique attachments, which make it a valuable tool for a wide variety of projects. Additionally, its compact dimensions, light weight and good maneuverability allow it to work in a large variety of environments, including places other equipment can’t.
